Wanker sparks health scare at Virgin Active

NUMEROUS clients at Windhoek's well-known health recreational centre, Virgin Active, were left dumbfounded last week after a middle-aged man was found masturbating and ejaculating in full view of the entrance to the male's sauna.

Several clients at Windhoek's Virgin Active gym are still trying to come to terms with the wayward elderly client, who was caught masturbating and eventually ejaculating whilst allegedly appreciating men in vicinity.
Virgin Active's Duty Manager, Petrus Gurirab confirmed the incident but referred all enquiries to the gym's boss, Anuschka Davis.
"This is a weird issue and I cannot discuss it with you," said Gurirab.
The accused, Hendrik Kruger, when contacted for comment, said he offered no apologies to whoever was making complaints about him at the gym, and that he harboured no sexual intentions towards him whatsoever, as the complainant was not his type. "I had no intention to sleep with him. He is not even my type. He is not beautiful."
The man, who sports a pair of tattoos that sandwich his private parts, frequents the gym during morning and afternoon peak hours, often shocking clients by masturbating whilst looking at other men in the shower.
"The manager on duty (Gurirab) spoke seriously with him to desist from his fantasies because it not only inconveniences other gym users, but it is also unhealthy when he discharges semen on the floor," one irate client said.
"He just comes to stare at guys and start dreaming about them," said another irate client.
"He is fond of wanking while fantasising about the bodies of fellow naked men."
When confronted by the gym's cleaners as to why he had taken to ejaculating all over the floor, Kruger was reportedly unapologetic. "Can't you see what I am doing? I am coming," he told them.
Kruger claims his actions are the result of an illness.
Davis confirmed the irate clients' complaints and promised to look into the matter.
Kruger however, said he had already discussed the issue with the gym's management and as far as he was concerned, "everything has been resolved".
According to Ahealth.com, Kruger's disorder falls under Psychological Paraphilia, better known as Voyeurism.
Voyeurism is a male disorder that involves seeking sexual pleasure by secretly observing another person. Other names for the behaviour include "peeping" or "peeping Tom". The activity brings on sexual excitement and may end in masturbation.
Voyeurism usually starts in adolescence and tends to persist into adulthood.

'There's a tapeworm in my food!'

Saw this on news24, just disgusting!

Stellenbosch - A Somerset West policeman says he had eaten half a tapeworm in his pork dish when he saw the rest of it lying on his plate at a Gordon's Bay restaurant.

Inspector Hennie Smit ordered eisbein - a traditional pork dish - while dining with his wife at the Sunset Bay Spur in Gordon's Bay last Thursday. Halfway through the meal, he saw 7cm long segments of the tapeworm lying on his plate.

Smit told on Wednesday how a piece of the remaining tapeworm was still stuck to the meat.

"At first I thought it was a sinew but then I saw the flat segments and realised it was a tapeworm."

Without saying a word to his wife, he got up and rushed to the restaurant's toilets.

"I spat out the food I was still chewing into the toilet, and then went to reception to report it," said Smit.

Apology

The woman told him that it was apparently not the first time that something like this had happened.

The manager on duty that day apologised, and suggested he order something else.

"The man didn't even look shocked when I informed him about the worm. I then ordered a piece of steak and two double whiskeys to get rid of the feeling."

But he had to pay for the rest of the drinks and the food.

A manager at this Spur said on Wednesday that neither he nor the staff were aware of the incident. He didn't want to comment

"We were regulars at the Spur, but I will never go to a Spur again," said Smit.

3km-thick brown cloud over Asia

"How Now Brown Cloud?"

Beijing - A three-kilometre thick cloud of brown soot and other pollutants hanging over Asia is darkening cities, killing thousands and damaging crops, but may be holding off the worst effects of global warming, the UN said on Thursday.

The vast plume of contamination from factories, fires, cars and deforestation contains some particles that reflect sunlight away from the earth, cutting its ability to heat the earth.

"One of the impacts of this atmospheric brown cloud has been to mask the true nature of global warming on our planet," United Nations Environment Programme head Achim Steiner said at the launch in Beijing of a new report on the phenomenon.

'Silver lining' not that bright

The amount of sunlight reaching earth through the murk has fallen by up to a quarter in the worst-affected areas and if the brown cloud disperses, global temperatures could rise by up to 2 ° Celsius.

But the overall effect of slowing climate change is not the silver lining to a dark cloud that it appears to be.

The choking soup of pollutants may hold temperatures down overall, but the mix of particles means it is also speeding up warming in some of the most vulnerable areas and exacerbating the most devastating impacts of higher temperatures.

The complex impact of the cloud, which tends to cool areas near the surface of the earth and warm the air higher up, is believed to be causing a shortening of the monsoon season in India while increasing flooding there and in southern China.

Speeding up meltdown

Soot from the cloud is also deposited on glaciers, which are at the centre of environmentalists' and politicians' concerns because the glaciers feed Asia's key rivers and provide drinking water for billions.

There the particles capture more solar heat than white, reflective snow and ice - speeding up melting of a key resource. At a monitoring station near Mount Everest, soot has been found at levels which scientists say would be expected in urban areas.

There is also a high human cost. The report estimates round 340 000 people are dying prematurely because of damage to their lungs, hearts and risk of cancer.

Scientists are still studying the impact on crops, but possible problems include falling harvests because of less energy for photosynthesis and higher ozone concentrations.

There may also be damage from acidic and toxic particles in the cloud that land on plants, and wider changes to weather patterns may dry up or flood fields.

"The emergence of the atmospheric brown cloud problem is expected to further aggravate the recent dramatic escalation of food prices and the consequent challenge for survival among the world's most vulnerable populations," the report said.

Worldwide problem

One consolation, however, is that if the world stopped emitting the particles that form the cloud, it could be expected to vanish in weeks, unlike many longer-lasting greenhouse gasses.

The ingredients that make up the cloud are little different from the smog that cloaks many of the world's large cities, particularly in developing nations.

But scientists have realised this local pollution is a global problem, because of the way it rises and spreads.

"We used to think of the brown cloud as a regional-scale urban problem, now we know because of fast transport it travels vertically for three to four kilometres and spreads," said Professor Veerabhadran Ramanathan, head of the UN scientific panel which is carrying out the research.

There are similar brown clouds over parts of Europe, North America, Africa and the Amazon Basin, though research so far has been focused on the Asian cloud which stretches from the Arabian Peninsula to the Pacific Ocean.

A lot of things have happened over the past few months. Maybe too many things, one on top of the other, which has resulted in us feeling    "uh,oh - this is going just like Zimbabwe". Suddenly everybody is researching property in Perth !

I mean we've all read all sorts of kak about Jacob Zuma, The Health Minister, Jackie Selebi, Bob Mugabe, Crime, Eskom, Petrol, Food Costs, Bafana Bafana, The Arms Scandal, Schabir Shaik, Rising Interest Rates, Tony Yengeni and even Steve Hofmeyer's perforated poephol. And of course the endless detailed stories of various rapes, murders and hijackings. And where is it ?

EVERYWHERE !!

It's on every news bulletin, on every website, in every magazine and every newspaper. You can't help but read it, see the headlines, hear the rumours. It's everywhere ! It's like I was slowly being brainwashed. And what's worse - I started to get that naar feeling in my gut. And let me tell you it feels kak !

On the 4th May I read the Sunday Times interview with our new Springbok Rugby Coach. (He hasn't done anything yet, but I am really starting to like this oke - by the way!) He said ....The local media thrive on negativity. They have nothing good to say about their country. If there is something bad about this country, the local media will break a leg to be the first to write about it. They're a bunch of negative people who live in a world of their own, and are merely there to earn a living and not make South Africa a better place"

Do yourself a favour - and read his statement again. He hit the nail on the head. Our journalists are a sorry bunch of scumbags. They twist and distort any story to sensationalize it as much as possible. And all so that they can sell their product - you miserable bunch of arsewipes !

Don't get me wrong. There are problems here. Yes, we do have high crime stats, it is becoming more and more expensive to live. But hey, they have problems overseas as well. It's true, our government are a sorry bunch. Not worth a vote. But my point is that we are not hearing about anything else. Many ordinary people are busy doing extremely good things every day - but none of it is newsworthy. Now here's a truth - there are about 6,6 billion people on our planet. According to WHO there are about 56 million deaths per year. Which means that roughly 153 400 people die every single day. With 153 400 deaths per day it really wouldn't be too difficult to find disasters, accidents, catastrophes, murders, muggings and general mayhem to write about - would there ? It's pretty easy actually.

And during the same time period about 350 000 beautiful, miraculous, perfect, pure, happy, untainted precious babies begin their journey on this planet. And do journalists write about this ? Of course not. But if a six-month-old baby is stabbed to death you'll never stop hearing about it. The fact is that bad news sells best.

I have become sick and tired of the continued obsessive focus of the media with everything that is negative. I'm all in for free press - but really this has gone way overboard. The media have gone beyond the simple task of reporting on what is happening. They are now CAUSING some of it by their own actions. The media have helped to perpetuate a cycle of violence and destruction. The media poephol's need to cheer up and get a life or piss off and get another job. The media really need to seriously stop with their sensationalism and scandal. They need to start doing their job more creatively and seek out and give headline space to the good things that are going on here in South Africa. Trust me - it's there.

Let's take last Sundays' newspaper. Taking out the sports pages - and only focusing on the front nine pages. (which is really what makes up the paper these days) - it only involved 280 people. That is 0.00058% of our population.

This is not the first time there's been doom and gloom. Every few years the same thing happens. We experience massive economic growth, everyone is optimistic and buying Nescafe Gold, holiday homes and Mercs. The positivity gets ahead of itself and the economy overheats, and then the panic sets in because the economy seems to be collapsing, when in fact it's simply making an adjustment back to a resonable level.

It happened in 1989, when South Africa defaulted on it's international loans and the stock market and the rand crashed, it happened in 1994 when the ANC took power and everyone thought war would break out, it happened in 1998 when interest rates hit 25% and you couldn't give your house away and it happened in 2001 when 2 Boeings flew into the tallest buildings in New York.

On each of those occassions everyone thought it was the end of the world and there was no light in sight. And on each occassion, the world did not actually come to an end. It recovered and in fact things continued to get better. Make sure that you take a mental note of what is happening right now, because it will happen again and again and again. If you don't recognize the symptoms, you'll be suckered into the same negativity, and forget to look for the opportunities.

It's easy to be negative. Subconsciously, it's just plain easier to do. Why don't the media dedicate more time to the real facts of our country ? The fact is that we are in better financial shape now than we were 20 years ago. The fact is that Johannesburg is the worlds largest man made forest. And what about the corruption free achievements of the vast majority of our public officials. You know why ? Because good news is soooo
b-o-r-i-n-g.

South Africa still has the best weather in the world. We're lucky enough to possess a huge chunk of the world's resources, i.e: gold, platinum, coal, iron. 8% of the world's silicone is mined right here in Mpumalanga - did you know that ? The growth in India and China will continue and so will their demand for our resources. Our government has already embarked on massive infrastructural projects (some of them a bit late - like electricity). These projects will pump large sums of money into our economy.

Every day about 48 million South Africans wake up, hopefully brush their teeth and get on with their lives. Many of us perform little acts of respect, compassion and kindness each and every day. And that's what got me thinking. I stopped reading the newspapers. I stopped watching the news on TV. I stopped listening to the news on the car radio. I changed my website front page. And I stopped listening to negative people with all their chirps and kak. As a result I stopped focussing on what was going wrong in my life.

I took the time to wake up a little earlier - drink some rooibos and watch the sunrise. Fortunately, where I live I can see the sun rise over the sea. Some of you oke's may not be so fortunate. I began to read about the good that is going on in South Africa. Do yourself a favour and visit www.sagoodnews.co.za. I started reading non-fiction again. The TV remains off while we eat and conversation has been stimulated. I have started the whole gym thing again. I started watching the National Geographic and Discovery channels.   I take the time to walk out in my garden (taking care to miss the rottweilers landmines). Hell, I have even started walking on the beach again - something I haven't done in years. Fact is that I have started living again - from the inside out.

Fact is you can't change your thinking in order to improve your behaviour. You need to change your behaviour in order to improve your thinking. So if you, like me, are feeling anxious, concerned, depressed or just plain gatvol in general - why not try changing your behaviour and DOING something different from today.

Watch the sun rise or set

Play your favourite music - especially when the news comes on

Find out and speak about all the good that is going on

Give that taxi in front of you a gap

Drink herbal tea in the mornings

And don't let the media infuence your mind. Next time you're standing in the Woolies que buying those choc balls that you are going to scoff all on your own - don't buy any of the gossip mags or newspapers they so coveniently position by the tills.

2008 will be a tough year. But this is also the year where opportunities can be seized. While everybody else is whining and moaning, get yourself onto the front seat of the inevitable boom that we will experience in the latter part of 2009 and the years beyond that.

Ignore the media and their doomsday forecasts. Install a timer on your geyser, go back to single ply paper and drink Ricoffee for a couple of months.

Donkey locked up in jail.

Mexico City - A donkey is doing time in southern Mexico for assault and battery.

The animal was locked up at a local jail that normally holds people for public drunkenness and other disturbances after it bit and kicked two men near a ranch in Chiapas state, police said on Monday.

Officer Sinar Gomez said the donkey will remain behind bars until its owner agrees to pay the men's medical bills.

"Around here, if someone commits a crime they are jailed," Gomez said - "no matter who they are."

The owner, Mauro Gutierrez, told The Associated Press he would try to reach a friendly arrangement to pay the men's bills, estimated at $420.

The victims said the donkey bit Genaro Vazquez, 63, in the chest on Sunday and then kicked 52-year-old Andres Hernandez as he tried to come to the rescue, fracturing his ankle.

"All of a sudden, the animal was on top of us like it was rabid," Hernandez said.

Police said it took a half-dozen men to control the enraged burro.

Chiapas police have thrown animals in the slammer before, including a bull that devoured corn crops and destroyed two wooden vending stands in March.

In 2006, a dog was locked up for 12 days after biting someone. His owners were fined $18.

Truer words have never been spoken. The question though behind these words is what truth should one live by. The one which our heart whispers into our soul? Or the moral that society has given us to live and love by. Every human being is filled with a deep sense of longing. Some are primal and others are so deeply embedded in our subconscious that we are no longer aware of them. This sense of longing is the driving force behind our actions, our thoughts. This sense of longing defines who we truly are because due to it we act as individuals.

What idea can one live or die for. The idea of fortune? Maybe, but what is fortune? Is fortune the balance in your bank account or is fortune perhaps the happiness that one carries in ones heart. The happiness of knowing one is loved and cherished? Some say that the "gut feeling" will tell you which is right for you, but what if that gut feeling has been influenced by certain circumstances that we could not possibly control. The emotional state of human beings changes with every experience we have. Some become distant and other become unsure and confused. With this change in the emotional balance does the gut not change as well? If this is the case, one can not always rely on ones "gut feeling"

So how to solve this dilemma "The thing is to find a truth which is true for me, to find the idea for which I can live and die"?

Which is it for you? What is your truth and what is your idea? Have they changed over the past due to experiences you had and if so why? Do you think that they are right, that this change is truly who you are, or just a mirror image of your past which you have allowed to affect you so profoundly, that you have willingly changed the core being of who you are?

DC6 V5-NCG

One of my favourite aircraft, the infamous DC6. This particular DC6 is based here in Windhoek at Namibia Commercail Aviation (Pty) Ltd (NCA) Eros Airport. The company is owned and operated by Mr Chris Schutte. I shot these pictures today from my house with Sonja's FujiFilm S5700 FinePix Digital camera at 10X optical zoom, as it was quite a distance away. The shot with the landing gear out was taken just before they did a "beat up" on runway 01. If only I had know they were going to to a "beat up", I would have raced out to the bridge off the apron on the northern side of runway 01 to get some awesome pictures of this beautiful aircraft. Oh, and lets not forget the awesome sound of those roaring engines! It gives you goose bumps all over your body and you land up with a smile on your face that just stays there! I hope to get some closer pictures of her on take-off sometime soon.

How they steal money out your bank account these days (2008)

Here are some frightening methods used lately to steal money out of your bank account.
Take note that these attempts are currently happening in South Africa. Below is the exact description I received from a very reliable source via e-mail. This is what happens when you have offshore accounts or local accounts.

First tie they sent us an anti money laundering from to fill in (By post to fax back) from JP Morgan Bank (all details correct except Nigerian fax Number) As we had just moved an account to them we were expecting such a form as it is a legal requirement when you have a new account with a banking establishment. Fucking clever! That one was really close because they had all details including correct signature. They were only caught because they did not follow the correct procedure. They requested that they sell all our accounts, liquidate all share holdings and transfer the proceeds to a bank account in Beijing after the fees had been deducted. 90% of our life savings. We now have a red flag on our account and they wont process any transactions unless they see us face to face….requires an international trip!

Next they called HSBC and said that (after stealing a statement from our post box) they had forgotten the Internet logon and code and were dully given it… They tried to process a transfer to a bank account in New York! However because the account had not had any withdrawals from inception they phoned us to confirm (on the farm 3 days ago). We have now red flagged this account as well and deactivated all Internet and phone banking! Can only use account Face to Face….again. This was a substantial amount but not too bad. Incidentally, their fraud department said that they are having so many problems from the SA accounts that they are no longer willing to open any new accounts across their branches world wide for anyone living in SA.

Third one on all shareholdings in SA. Once again post stolen. They took a statement from our broker and photo shopped the logo onto a letterhead. Did their homework used all right names phone numbers etc. Attached a from an "auditing" firm and introduced them as the company auditors and that they required information from clients in order to complete their audit…..account numbers, signatures etc…..we called the company (did not fill form in) as by this stage we were very wise to what goes on …..this account is now also closed with face only visits for withdraws.

We have now put a withdraw stop on all our other accounts and red flagged them all as it is only a matter of time! We are watching our SA bank accounts with interest…..

Anyway after much thought we decided the following:

All finances are kept under lock and key at home (and the keys are locked in a locked box and the locked box key is locked in another cupboard….info theft from home not likely.

Copy made of hard drive at home by maid for mates…..password protected.

Hacking…both run up to date antivirus, spy ware etc. software, besides no passwords and half details not on either compute r.

Common denominator…all attempts were linked to a postal incident. We are now changing our postal address for sensitive documents and moving to email where possible. Failing that we will take up a PO Box in London!

Now run all my personal info off a memory stick which is never attached when on the Internet. Stays around my neck in case computer stolen…they just get work stuff… the lengths you have to go to. So anyway quite a complicated process.

Global warming is a very real thing. Everyone is aware of it save for
the sceptics.
The worst reality of global warming besides the fact that it is real
is the fact that there is no way to curb it in any way, unless we
lower world population. Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" is very real
accurate and filled with undeniable truth. Some governments and
countries save America of course, are trying feebly to lower emissions
with energy saving bulbs, hybrid cars and wind driven turbines
etcetera.
Sadly however this is doing very little to curb global warming. Every
day there are more and more people on this planet. Our global
population is growing faster than you can imagine. With more people
comes more demand on the planet. The basic demands are food, water and
shelter. However in today's high tech world, our demands are hugely
higher. Everyone wants more and more, be it a house with electricity,
cars, televisions, cell phones, boats, planes and businesses. The
creation of all these modern day wonders demands huge amounts of
resources and energy, energy which results in generating heat warming
up the planet and resources which are slowly, but surely running out
at alarming rates.

Businesses mean economy and wealth. Wealth means more buying power
which means more products. More products, means more demand. More
demand means more energy and more resources. And so the viscous circle
is born.

South African Springbok Rugby World CUP Disappointment

Radical {Racial} changes are set to sweep through South African rugby
following the World Cup in France later this year.

According to a report in the Saturday Star newspaper, the first
Springbok team of 2008 will consist of at least 10 black and coloured
players.

National coach Jake White will also be replaced by the country's first
black Springbok coach -- Peter de Villiers -- and the side is set to be
captained by Luke Watson. Rugby bosses in South Africa are unhappy with
the slow rate of transformation and, according to the paper, believe the
only way to "Africanise" a sport which has been dominated by the
minority white population for over 100 years is to take radical steps.

"I have no problem with the transformation requirements," De Villiers
told the paper.

"My record at under-19, under-21 and provincial level speaks for itself.
Other coaches pick black players in their squad, but don't play them.
That's where I am different. I pick the players and play them," said De
Villiers.

He added he would meet the requirements of 10 black players in a
Springbok team. "There will be pain [in the results] but it is something
we must go through to transform the team. It would be an honour for me
to coach the Boks," he was quoted as saying.

Mama Jackey, aka the Angel of Soweto, keeps falling further and further from grace. This week she made headline news again when she was arrested for the kidnapping and assault of a Sowetan journalist. Carte Blanche brought us the exclusive exposé of Mama Jackey’s house of cards in November, and this week brought us the latest developments.

The fact that there are foreign institutes and people who are willing to help financially in Africa, in this case the "Angel of Soweto" in South Africa is really needed in some cases to make a difference. I have heard that Opera Winfrey and the NBA supported Mama Jackey financially for her goodness and love.
However, when shit like this comes to light I really get ticked off big time! Here we are again... AFRICA! It just does not seem to work for most black people in Africa. It seems money breeds corruption in Africa. I really feel for Opera Winfrey, the NBA and anyone else out there who tried to support a good cause in Africa. Unfortunately it turned to corruption and violence. How extremely embarrassing for them!
Now when a cry goes out for help, from Africa, people would think twice about helping, thanks to Mama Jackey. This is not only an embarrassment to the people who helped support a good cause, but also an embarrassment to South Africa!

baby food, diapers, baby cloths and baby toys. Sales are already been
reported to be climbing in these categories. According to a report,
condom sales are down (need I explain). Now you could follow the yearly
trend as these babies grow up. Invest in what their parents would be
buying their children as they grow up.

Windows Vista a disaster?

I was having a look at an article which compares Windows XP to Windows
Vista, and was absolutely appalled by the results. In fact it was so
appalling; I began to giggle at first and then began to laugh out loud,
shaking my head from side to side!
I just could not believe what I was reading!
Whoa I thought when I read the term " SuperFetch" and "ReadyBoost" until
I read what they do... oh and get this... you have to train up the
"SuperFetch" to get used to what you do with the PC. Sounds all super
until you find out how it works. "SuperFetch" loads your most used
applications into memory (yea an...), "ReadyBoost" uses memory not in
use by USB devices (Flash memory), (whaaaat!...). In almost all the
benchmark graphs XP out performs Vista. Oh... your anti-virus,
anti-spyware and firewall software is said not to load with Vista unless
the software is "Vista Ready" (WHAT!)
There are about 4 games guaranteed to work withy Vista! (WooHoo!)
Mmm... why would anyone want to by Microsoft Vista?
Is this going to be a white horse for Microsoft?

FBI laptops come with weapons

Ok, check out this snippet from the CNN Website:

"The FBI lost at least 10 laptop computers containing classified
information during a four-year period ending in 2005, the Justice
Department's inspector general has found.
The 10 were among the 160 laptops lost or stolen during a 44-month
period ending September 30, 2005, Inspector General Glenn Fine reported.
An equal number of weapons also went missing.
The report said the number of missing items, while still a problem,
represents a sharp improvement over a 2002 audit, which found more than
300 laptops and 300 weapons lost or stolen during the previous 28-month
period.
Fine said that among the 10 missing laptops known to contain sensitive
or classified information was one that had identifying information on
FBI personnel."

160 Laptops over a 44-month period gives you 3.6 laptops a month!
300 Laptops over the previous 28 month period - 10.7 laptops a month!
The same amount of weapons also went missing over these periods!
Now how is that for a story? For every laptop missing, so does a weapon.
So the question is, does the FBI leave sensitive laptops and weapons
together unattended?
Next question; how the hell is this possible with all that "Security".
So... is it a handout, inside job or just plain stupidity?

Harry Potter and the September 11 Attacks

With regards to some of the comments from CRIMES AND CORRUPTIONS OF THE NEW WORLD ORDER NEWS stating that there is no conspiracy cover up about the "September 11 attacks" on the US, try this on for size.

Do yourself a favour and go and look at the original footage. You will not see one single seat or suitcase at the Pentagon, or the Pennsylvania site - there is not one identifiable peace of aircraft. Not one. There has never been an air crash in the history of aviation that after impact there is not a single identifiable piece of the aircraft. Take the space shuttle disaster over the USA for example. There were identifiable pieces right across the freekin states. Well that's a first, a disappearing 757! Totally incinerated! Tell you what - hows about this for a test to proof that there was no 757 that crashed into the Pentagon. Get all the news crews out to the Pentagon, evacuate all the people in the Pentagon and clear the area. Get a 757 Jet filled with fuel and fly it into the same location as the "original plane" did into the side of the Pentagon. You will see a totally different scene than on Sept 11. The difference... there would be shit everywhere, and I can promise you this much, there will be identifiable plane parts all over the pentagon - make no mistake about that. Oh... and try checking for aircraft debris and a couple of car crashes at the other side of the Pentagon on the highway that passes along the side of the river. A disappearing plane? Sounds a bit like Harry Potter to me! Wake up and get your head out the ground man!

F22 Raptor

12 US F22 Raptor Fighter Jets were sent to Okinawa Japan, where they will be stationed for 3 months. (Yah right!) Seems to me that the US is pretty nervous (as with almost anything these days) about the nuclear situation in North Korea. Oh let's not forget Iran. Ok make no mistake, I am also nervous of North Korea. More so of North Korea than Iran at this moment in time. Maybe sending the F22 Raptors to Okinawa is a good move in the eyes of the USA, but my concerns are, that this is like prodding a bull terrier in the side - it's going to bite you! Now sticking one bull terrier (Northern Korea) in the side with one hand is silly enough - sticking a second bull terrier in the side (Iran), with the other hand... well - be prepared to be ripped to pieces! "here dogie dogie...!"

William Page - Leaves toddler to freeze to death!

This is just so unimaginable! How can anyone take a little toddler of
almost 2 years old, and leave her outside in freezing temperatures for
the night?!! The poor little toddler wandered around for a while before
dying of hypothermia...! Just try to imagine what this poor innocent
toddler must have been wondering. When police found her, she was totally
frozen! I really hope the authorities are going to hand down a mean
sentence! People like this make me sick! Fu#@ing Oxygen thief! Oh... and
he was charged with sexually abusing second child in house! WTF! This

Anna Nicole Smith Murdered?

Ok, so for now Anna Nichole Smith died. Has anyone wondered if she could
have been murdered? Ok so she had symptoms of some sort of flu. Think
about it, these days there are many ways to skin a cat! 5 Months ago her
20 year old son mysteriously dies, when she gives birth to her new baby
daughter. These days it is a little strange if you just fall over and
die. What about that old rich 89 year old she married? She was battling
the inheritance for how long? And we are not talking small change here!
With here life style, obvious greed and hunger for more money (married
89 year old billionaire about to die), it would not surprise me, if
someone wanted "The Smith's" to disappear! Now watch the frenzy as to
what happens, or who gets custody over the baby...

Dead Blogs!

Scouring the Internet for interesting top blogs with active current
daily traffic, I was horrified to see how much dead wood is out there. I
came across loads of blogs which have not posted in months, others for
years. When checking the archives and profiles I found on average,
that the dead blogs blogged for about 6 months to year and then stop.
What happened to these bloggers? Doing searches with Google brought up
loads of top bloggers which are in fact dead, old and outdated. What a
shame! Some dead blogs looked like they had major potential. So now I
begin to wonder just how much dead wood is out there...

Car Accidents

What is it with people these days? Are they just plain stupid? Or maybe
they just have a death wish? About 20 years ago, people respected the
roads, other drivers, adhered to traffic signs and speed limits. Today
it's a different story all together! It is upsetting to know that the
maniac drivers of today, not only land up injuring or killing
themselves, but they also injure and kill innocent well behaved road
users in the process. Now that really pisses me right off! You have a
bloody death wish if you overtake a car on a hilltop. You have no vision
of any oncoming traffic! You are endangering the people's lives in the
car you are overtaking and the people in the car coming from the front!
You should be behind bars or have your driver's license revoked for
life! Oh and for those of you who think driving at top speed is cool...
think again! There is little to zero chance of survival in the event of
a tire blow-out! Most people will loose total control of their car,
possibly killing other people to! Why can't everyone just chill out on
the roads and enjoy their trip? Bad attitude and not adhering to the
rules, put there for your safety on the roads, is like a loaded gun
waiting to kill someone and should be dealt with severely.

So how do you control this then? Car manufactures and law makers should
insist that every vehicle on the road should be fitted with a
transmitter which logs the speed of the vehicle via satellite should it
be above the set speed limit for that section of road or area. This data
and car information (car model, number plate and registered owner)
stored in the transmitter should then be relayed to the nearest traffic
control centre's, in the area. Traffic police can then be alerted to the
perpetrator, who can be pulled off the road and arrested without any
questions! The device should be tamper proof and capable of been
detected by road side police that your vehicle has such a device and
that it is fully functional. If the device is not detected in your car,
your car is illegally on the road! Emergency services on the other hand
will be exempted from such a device or have higher limits when it comes
to speed limit. As simple as that!

In my personal opinion, I think President Bush has lost his marbles! Not only has he lost his marbles, he has become a very dangerous person, when it comes to world peace. I say this because the decisions he's been making is getting people all over the world pissed off. Invading Iraq which had no weapons of mass destruction in the first place was a total cock up! Now years later Iraq is still in a total mess with suicide bombs going off every blady day in Baghdad! What does President Bush hope to achieve by sending 20 000 more troops there? More like an additional 20 000 targets! Don't get me wrong, I am not anti America or anything like that, but I am anti all the kuk that is going on in today's world as a result of people like President Bush and all the rest. People in charge of things, should be solving problems, not escalating them. Oh, by the way... why has the Bush administration not intervened in Zimbabwe? Why? Because there is nothing of interest (like oil) there. That's why! In the mean time President Robert Mugabe has been allowed to rape his country and people for everything they had. It seems to me that politicians are one of the major problems in the world today. What amazes me every time is all the promises politisians make to their people. Then when the new (or maybe not so new) president / leader is sworn in, all the promises made fall by the way side and all that happens is you have another wanker who thinks he is better than God, shit's gold, causes kuk in his / her own country or any other one for that matter, line their pockets with what ever the hell he / she feels like, even if it is coruption. Oh and let's not get into all the lies, coverups and all the spy vs spy cloak and dagger crap! One would swear these kinds of people had a very hard time growing up with little or no toys to play with!

Langstrand Car Accident

At about 18H15 there was a terrible car accident on the road between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay on Friday 12 December. The following story comes from the Namibian Newspaper, the pictures are from an alternate source.

TWO of Namibia's brightest young tennis stars lost their lives in a road accident at the coast on Friday.

The Davin sisters, Janine and Suzelle, were two of four fatalities after yet another car crash on the notoriously dangerous road between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay.
According to information available yesterday, Janine (19), Suzelle (18) and a South African friend, Gere Maree, were travelling northwards from Walvis Bay in a Mitsubishi Pajero at around 18h15.
The driver of a Toyota Corolla, heading in the opposite direction, lost control of his vehicle.
After leaving the road, the Corolla apparently swerved back onto the highway and collided with the oncoming Pajero.
The Walvis Bay Fire Department had to use the jaws of life to free the victims from both vehicles, but Janine and the two passengers of the Corolla, a young man and a woman, did not survive.
Suzelle was rushed to Walvis Bay's Welwitschia Clinic, from where she was flown by helicopter to the Roman Catholic Hospital in Windhoek.
She died there on Saturday.
Maree, a promising young rugby player, was taken to the Swakopmund Cottage Hospital with a fractured leg, but has since been released.
The Davin sisters were among the best tennis players Namibia has produced and were steadily climbing their way up the International Tennis Federation (ITF) rankings.
They have consistently won top honours in local tournaments and on several occasions represented the country on the ITF circuit.
Earlier this year, Suzelle became the first Namibian female tennis player to compete in the Junior Wimbledon Championships in London, where she progressed to the second round.
Ranked 108th in the world in the junior women's category at the time, she was the only African player in her class to compete in the event.
She was also named Namibia's Junior Sportswoman of the Year.
Both girls represented Namibia in the Federations Cup: Janine in 2004 in Malta and Suzelle in 2005 and 2006 in Turkey.
Besides her many victories on the tennis court, Janine also excelled as hockey player.
She scored both the national hockey team's goals to beat Nigeria and clinch the bronze medal for Namibia in last year's Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
She was playing for the hockey team of the University of Stellenbosch.
Suzelle had just completed her matric year at Bloemhof Girls High School in Stellenbosch and was awarded a tennis scholarship to study at the University of Iowa in the United States next year.
Janine was a science student at the University of Stellenbosch.
At age 13, their younger sister, Annalien, is also a budding tennis ace and rushed back home from a tournament in South Africa after the accident.
Namibian tennis coach and Federations Cup player Elizma Nortje had a hand in shaping the skills of both girls.
Speaking to The Namibian yesterday, Nortje said their deaths reverberated through the tennis fraternity in South Africa, where the Davin sisters were respected opponents.
"It leaves a void in Namibian tennis," she said, "but especially in the hearts of their family and friends."
Nortjé fondly remembers the beginning of their tennis careers when they were still knee-high, but fierce competitors.
They were introduced to the game by their mother, Jeanne, also a well-known competitive player in Namibia.
"They were always on the go; always on their way to some tournament or the other.
To be part of the Federation Cup team was just one of many highlights in the careers that they pursued with passion and dedication.
Suzelle and I still would have had a training session on Saturday," Nortje said.
The funeral service of the Davin sisters will be at 10h00 on Thursday at the Eros congregation of the NG Church.

Images generate free traffic

Images generating free traffic? Well actually the answer is yes! How
does this work? Well, it's quite simple really. Google want to be the
best search engine in every aspect when it comes to websites, images,
and videos. Just like the normal google search engine, there is also the
google image search engine. People do searches for images there. Simply
type in the image subject, click search, and you get millions of images
you can choose from. Of course these images all come from websites like
yours or mine. Remember that some of the images google spits out of the
search engine are not really what was being searched for. This is where
google saw an opportunity to improve their image search results. The
only way to improve the image results is to label the images better. Now
what a massive job that would be! Ah... yes but as you know google is
mighty clever. So how is google doing this then? Well, pretty ingenious
if you ask me. Google created a sort of competition or game if you would
called "image labeller". You and a partner get shown the same image,
which you need to label. If you both come up with the same label, the
image is labelled; you both earn 100 points and are shown another random
image. Label as many as you can in 90 seconds! There is a point sore
board there showing the image label gurus most accumulated point for the
day, and all time. There are thousands of people all around the planet
playing this cool little game. I have tried it and it can be fun.
That's all well and fine, but how do you get google to start processing
images on your site? Wait for a google bot to spot your images? The
answer is no, you must join up with google sitemaps. Inside the google
sit maps there is a setting which allows google to index images from
your site. Make sure you check the box and google will soon be indexing
your images. You don't need to worry about the labels of the images or
the file names of the images. The labelling of your images will be done
by someone pretty soon somewhere on the planet by the image labelling
gurus merrily playing their little game!
Since I set this image indexing setting in my site maps account I have
seen a dramatic increase in traffic to my site.

Generating traffic to your website.

Generating traffic to your website is no easy task at all. Ask me I should know. I have been struggling for 5 months already! Finally I have listings on Yahoo, MSN, HotBot, AltaVista and Google. Unfortunately on Google the site is listed about 150th which is not where I would prefer it to be. The others are not too bad at all, considering some of the other search engines have listed my site on the first page! Problem is that most people these days use Google! I find that I get a bit of traffic from Yahoo and MSN late at night from the USA. Obviously the best way to get traffic to your website is via a high placement on a good search engine such as Google or Yahoo.

Problem is… how to get there? Well it is not easy, takes time and patience! Here are a couple of things I have learnt so far:

First rule to remember is that Google wants to have quality and content. This is what makes them the best search engine. When you do a search on Google, you will only get the best quality sites listed in order from best to worst. So remember the quality and content of your site!

Second rule to remember, it’s very tempting to jump on some forum and tell all the members there about your site. Be careful here! The initial idea is a good one, make no mistake. The pro’s to doing this is yes you get immediate traffic to your site depending on how big and how active the forum is, and how long your post stays on the recent discussions. No problem… you post again, and again, and again! Bad move! Search engine spiders are constantly crawling the web. So they find your site url listed in the forum so many times they see it as a type of SPAM. This is no good for the possible listing you might have had on Google. It is a good way to get a spider to find your site through a forum, but remember to be careful here. Don’t go over board. Another thing to be careful of in a forum is which subject you are posting in. Don’t go posting in a rocket forum your site which has to do with bikes! All that happens there is you get traffic for a short while and no one bought a bike. Rather post in a bike forum. In the bike forum the spiders will also see keywords related to your site, and of course your web site url will be associated with this. Now this is a good thing. Leave it at that!

Third rule to remember, spelling! For goodness sakes, a spelling mistake is very easy to make while typing away on the keyboard. One sli[p of the fingers and you have a great spelling mistake which eventually disappears from site while you are happily typing away at the keyboard with so much enthusiasm not even the car accident outside can drag you away. I was enthralled when I was finally listed on Google’s top first page on a search for my site. I was ecstatic! My heart was pumping and I though “THIS IS IT!” The thrill was very short lived when I realised that the reason my site was there is because some of my keywords were spelt incorrectly!
I was mortified to say the least! There was my site listing all bright and shiny on the wrong bloody place! It will take about another 4 months before that gets rectified by the search engines after I have corrected the mistakes!

Forth rule to remember. Forget all those sites and companies which promise to drive huge amounts of traffic to your site! I have spent money on lots of them. THEY DO NOT WORK! Ask me I have the experience. I have paid some companies for traffic and saw zero!
There is one that does work and it is Google Ad Words. It is what I use to get traffic to my website in the mean time until my listing gets higher ratings on Google. I see this as a good marketing tool to get your site out there for a start run. If you want to pay for traffic: “Remember if it’s not Google traffic it ain’t traffic at all.”
By the way, if you do somehow miraculously find one that does drive traffic to your site, it is most likely to be traffic which has little to no interest at all in your site. Fat help that does for you, that helps a much as bulls running through a china shop!

Fifth rule. Get other sites to link to your site! This also helps the web spiders to find your site and get it listed. This is not easy to do and takes time, e-mailing webmasters pleading with them to link to your site. Obviously you will have to put a link to their site from your web site as well. But be careful here in selecting who you want linking to your site! Try to get highly rated sites to link to your site. If you can get some of them to link to your site Google spiders will associate your site with the highly rated site. In other words, if the Google spiders spot your site listed on an important high quality site, they would begin to think that your site must be important too. “Birds of a feather flock together.”

Rule number six. Be Patient! Refine your content! Make sure it is of the best quality!

Forums which pay members for posts!

I belong to a forum (MyLot) which pays it's members for making and commenting on posts made by all it's members (don't give up your day job though). I did not realise this when I joined up though and only found out a bit later on. They pay you out when your credit reaches a certain limit via PayPal or ikobo. It does work and you do get paid, I received my ikobo card via Fedex. This card can be used in any VISA ATM or speed point for the purchase of goods.

Now here is the interesting part. You will be asking yourself how does a forum manage to pay all it's members? Well the concept is pretty simple. MyLot has Google Adsense ads all over the forum. So... visitors and members click on the Google Adsense ads which earns the forum money. Out of that money they pay their members (like me). They currently have over 8000 members and climbing all the time. Pretty clever!

Ok so this got me thinking a bit. MyLot depends on people clicking on the ads, all well and fine. In my expereince on the MyLot forum, I think I clicked on one ad over a time span of 2 months! I also noticed that I was pretty blind to the ads even if they were about the subject! Now if I was pretty blind to the ads, how many other members are also blind to them? I even saw posts where a discussion was about say "employment". To the right of that discussion were ads about employment and no one seem to notice or mention them! I seem to remember a post which actually mentioned the ads, but only to find out how many people actually clicked on them. I think most of the replies were "not clicking on the ads - here for the forum" sort of thing.

So my question is how long will these forums last? Time will tell.

These days when I have a look at CNN to see what's going on outside my world, I can't help shouting out aloud - "WHAT A JOKE!" What the hell is wrong with everybody? A cartoon that causes total mayhem some time back, unbelievable! President Bush, well need I say more? Last weekend there was a big deal because the Pope said something which clearly upset alot of people. What is with that? Chill out for heavens sake! To all those people who make a big deal out of someones words or some stupid picture - deep breath and don't go doing anything stupid!Do that and the world will fast become a better place to live for everyone.
